    No, we won’t charge you any fee. It is totally free to download.

  • What hardware do I need?

    You only need an iPad and EFTPOS. But you might also need a printer if you want to print receipts or order dockets, and a cash drawer if you need to store cash.

  • Sign Up GoMenu POS

    You can sign up Gomenu POS from browser. 1.     Open an internet browser, and go to gomenuhq.com , then click Get Started . 2.     Enter an email address, create a password and enter the contact number, then click Create . 3.     We will send a verification code to your email. Enter the code to the device. (Keep in mind that you can sign in to multiple devices using the same email address and password.)

  • Setting Up Printer

    * At the current stage, GoMenu POS (iPadOS Version) do not support USB connection receipt printers. Please do not connect this iPad to the guest WIFI network. If this iPad has connected to a guest WIFI network, it may not be able to access other devices, such as printers and EFTPOS terminals. Prepare the Printer by Ethernet/WIFI To get your printer ready for use, it’s important to follow these instruction steps: 1.     Load the paper tray with the correct type of paper. 2.     Connect the power cable from the printer to a nearby plug socket, making sure that it’s securely inserted into both the printer and the outlet. 3.     If you are using a receipt printer along with a cash drawer, connect the cash drawer cable from the drawer to the printer. This will allow the printer to send signals to the cash drawer to open it automatically when a transaction is completed. 4.     Finally, connect the ethernet cable from the printer’s LAN port to your network. This will enable you to print from any device that’s connected to your network and to receive status updates and other important information about your printer’s performance. To check whether the ethernet cable is connected to the printer, you should see a solid orange and green light signaling that the printer is connected to your network.   • What Hardware can I use with GoMenu POS?

    1.     Check your existing hardware -       If you already have your own hardware, let’s check whether it is compatible with GoMenu POS. 2.     Supported iPad -       For iOS iPad made by Apple we recommend using the iPad 5 generation or newer iPad. 3.     Supported printer -       GoMenu POS (iPadOS Version) only supports printers with the ethernet/WiFi, or Bluetooth printer from Epson and Star Micronics. Please check the Printer page to see more details about compatible printer. 4.     Buying new hardware -       If you want to buy new hardware, you might be interested in our product, check our Hardware page which shows some samples of what we recommended.   • Logging in to GoMenu POS

    You can log in to Gomenu POS from browser or from GoMenu POS APP. To log in from a browser 1.     Open an internet browser, and go to gomenuhq.com , click SIGN IN . 2.     Enter your email and password. 3.     Click SIGN IN to log on to GoMenuPOS. (If you’ve forgotten your password, you can click the Forgot Password?  prompt on the GoMenu POS login page.) To log in from the GoMenuPOS APP 1.     Enter your email and password. 2.     Tap Sign In . (If you’ve forgotten your password, you can click the Forgot Password?  prompt on the GoMenuPOS login page.)

  • How to Add Printer

    To set up your printer in GoMenu POS, please follow these steps: 1.     Click on More at the top right corner. 2.     Click on Printers . 3.     Click on Add Printer  to initiate the printer setup process. 4.     Turn on the Enable switches to ensure that the printer is ready to use. 5.     Choose a name for the printer that is relevant to its intended use, such as “Receipt” or “Order”, to make it easier to identify. This is particularly useful if you have multiple printers. 6.     Select the model of your printer. 7.     Enter the IP address of your printer. 8.     Toggles on the Print Receipt or Print Order Docket options if you want to print either of these on this printer. (Note that you can choose to print both on a single printer. Additionally, if you have multiple printers working on the order docket, you can select to print only specific categories on each printer.) 9.     Switch on Cash Drawer Connected  if you got a cash drawer connected to your selected printer. 10.   Set your Advance  settings. 11.   Lastly, select Test Print to ensure that the printer is connected and functioning correctly, if the paper print out indicates it is connected. 12.   We highly recommend you disable DHCP on your receipt printer.   Note: It is important to note that when you first log into GoMenu POS, you will be prompted to go through a setup wizard. During the printer setup process, if you click Add Printer  but do not wish to set up a printer at that time, remember to click the Delete  button at the bottom to avoid repeated prompts to enter an IP address.

  • Printing Setting

    Prints receipts after checkout? -       Do you wish the printer automatically print receipts after the customer checkout, or would you prefer to be prompted to do so. Prints order dockets after checkout? -       Do you wish the printer automatically print order dockets after the customer checkout, or would you prefer to be prompted to do so. Tap Confirm prints order docket? -       Do you wish to print order dockets after tapping the Confirm button. Prints items moved notification? -       Do you wish to print moved notification when orders transfer to other tables or adding more items into an existing order. Prints items void notification? -       Do you wish to print a notification when an order is voided? Tap Confirm prints bill? -       Do you wish to print a bill after tapping the Confirm button? Tap Payment prints bill? -       Do you wish to print a bill after tapping the Payment button? Tap Payment prints order docket? -       Do you wish to print order dockets after tapping the Payment button? Prints EFTPOS receipt? -       Do you wish to print EFTPOS receipts on your printer? Prints logo on receipt? -       Do you wish to print a logo on receipt to make it more recognizable? Prints Order# on receipt? -       Do you wish to print the order number on the receipt?

  • Printer Advance

    Advanced printing offers a range of creative printer settings that can be customized to suit various workflow and service styles.   Receipt -       Receipt Copies : Up to 5 receipt copies can be selected. Order Docket -       Font Size : There are four font sizes that can be selected: Extra Large, Large, Medium, Small. -       Print Order Number At : Order numbers can be printed at the top or bottom of the paper. -       Print Order Type At : Order type (Dine in, Takeaway, Delivery, Pickup) can be printed at the top or bottom of the paper. -       Order Docket Copies : Up to 5 copies of the order docket can be selected. -       Prints Items on order dockets individually : Individual items can be printed on each order docket if desired. -       Item Groupings : Print order docket by sorting the same category. Printer Mode -       Print Resolution : Set the resolution that suits your printer. -       Printer Mode : The printer mode can be set to either graphic or text, with graphic mode being recommended to avoid garbled characters in the product name that may not be supported by the printer.
