- Why doesn’t the EFTPOS terminal not work while clicking on card payment on GoMenu POS?
Check the EFTPOS Terminal power cable is securely connected, and the power is on, try to unplug both sides of the cable and re-plug in again. Check if the information needed for setting up GoMenu POS matches the EFTPOS Terminal. If you do not know what information needed, please refer to the EFTPOS Setting .
- Why is GoMenu POS lagging?
This could be caused by too much transaction cache on the iPad. To solve this problem please follow these steps: 1. Click on More at the top right corner. 2. Click on Sign Out . 3. Click on Clear Cache down at the bottom.
- Can we restore the account data if deleted accidentally?
No, deleting an account is an irreversible process, which we can’t revert even if you perform it by accident.
- Can I delete my account data permanently?
Yes, when you log in to your account, there is a store list page, click on tap here at the bottom.
- How does the pay cycle work? What happens if I change my plan mid-month?
If you upgrade mid-cycle, you will be charged a pro-rata amount. Then, you will pay for the upcoming month in full at your next billing date. You pay for the month in advance, so you won't receive a refund if you downgrade mid-pay cycle.
- Why doesn’t the printer print anything?
Check the printer power cable is securely connected and the power is on, try to unplug both sides of the cable and re-plug in again. Check the ethernet cable is securely connected to the printer and the router, try to unplug both sides of the cable and re-plug in again. Check if the printer IP address matches on GoMenu POS.
- What can I do with EFTPOS terminal when offline?
If you are in an area prone to unstable internet connection, we will recommend looking for a payment provider who offers 4G backup or ask the service provider for an EFTPOS Terminal that supports a sim card.
- How do I know if GoMenu POS is online or offline?
There is a cloud icon at the top right corner, if the icon turns into red color with a red cross underneath indicating you are in offline mode.
- What is the Price Level?
You can set a price that is lower than retail price as you might give some different price level to different customers.
- What is an Option Set?
You can use some common options such as size, flavor. In addition, you could add some toppings that generally aren’t sold solo.
- What is an access record as card payment and what does it do?
Record the payment method of the transaction as a card. The use of this function is in some cases, EFTPOS successfully processes a transaction, but GoMenu POS fails to receive the signal due to internet inconsistencies.
- Can staff use admin password to access higher permission?
Yes, staff can enter admin passwords to access operations that are not authorized.
